Lester Beall (1903–1969) was a key contributor to the modern movement in American graphic design and an important design pioneer who is perhaps best known for his poster designs for the Rural Electrification Administration (1937–1941). Beall also designed for many other clients, including the International Paper Company and Connecticut General Life Company. Read more here.
