This collection grew out of our collection of Postage Stamps by Type Designers and Notable Graphic Designers That Interest Us—and its goal is the same: To call attention to the overlooked and forgotten work of designers that interest us. This collection will always be significantly smaller than its sister collection. Not only is there less work to pursue, but it's just plain-old expensive to collect old money. Still, we will do our best to acquire specimens for your review—and when that's not possible, we will hunt down scans.

As it takes a village to put together a collection like this, please don't hesitate to let us know if we've missed your favorite type or notable graphic designer. We are always looking for a distraction from our usual work.
