Today we shook the 103-year-old hand of Daniel Aaron, the writer and academic who helped found the Library of America, whose latest book we designed. We hope our handshake is half-as-firm when we’re his age. The 560 pages of Commonplace Book, 1934–2012 read like he was live-tweeting the twentieth century.
